Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition- Test
This game is kind of gross version of a KFC nightmare, I find it awkward but in this strangeness there’s a sweet, delicate touch of… nope ain’t nothing sweet or delicate about this game. It’s gross, aggressive, dark and scary but it’s soooo soothing. If you’ve had a bad day at work just go home put Zeno Clash in and START PUNCHING THESE BASTARDS HEADS AWAY…wouw getting too exited!
This is one of my favorite First person-puncher so check out the weirdness.
Zeno Clash, the storyline
So here we are in the gloomy land of Zenozoik, in the city of Halstedom to be precise. A clan rules the city. The clans’ leader is called Father-Mother (who is a weird human-birdie hybrid). And here’s where the story’s twist pop’s in.
Ghat, who we play, is a cyber-punk caricature with a pinch of tribal, and well, he murders Father-Mother.
Ghat has now betrayed the clan and is chased by his brothers and sisters and must fight for survival.
He escapes with the help of his companion, Deadra.
Ghat recounts to her the events that led him to this point; the narrative going back and forth threw time.
This is already weird, and it just get’s better (or weirder).
Sniper: Ghost Warrior – Review
Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a serious bet. First of all a cool name. We can’t deny that! Snipers are one of the most particular class in FPS. It’s pretty rare to find a Sniper playing another class: it’s a complete feeling of the battlefield, it’s an independent spirit in the heart of a team, it’s a complex experience which must be taken seriously and which requires stealth, precision and dexterity.
Focusing a game on the Sniper’s class is also a strong challenge. Some have tried but weren’t successful. What’s about Sniper: Ghost Warrior developed by City Interactive.
Combat Zone: Special Forces
City Interactive, and we thank them very much, sent us 2 FPS. One of them is named: Combat Zone: Special Forces. It was released on March 2010. It’s a cheap online first-person shooter developed by Micro Application and City Interactive. Even if the actual trend is to offer free online FPS (Black Shot and in streaming the Massive Quake Live), Combat Zone: Special Forces want to walk on Counter Strike’s path. Check out what it is all about.
The game offers to play a soldier in an anti-terrorist band: the Spetnaz (Russian), SAS (UK), French legionnaires, GROM (Pologna), SWAT (US) or on the other hand to be a part of the mercenaries or terrorist band!
A good point is that each band has its own equipment and skills. It’s a difference with other FPS who rarely proposes different characters with different characteristics.
Left 4 Dead: The Passing Review
Valve’s Left 4 Dead 2 Dlc: The Passing was released on April 22nd 2010, a few days ago. Left 4 Dead is a successful First Person Shooter which takes place during a zombie pandemic and focuses on 4 survivors fighting to survive. The original L4D2 was released on October 2009. The Passing was highly anticipated by the fans so let’s see if the Dlc could satisfy our expectations.
Stimulus Package Review
We’ve writen a lot about this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Dlc named the Stimulus Package. It was released on March 30 for 1200 Microsoft Points and will be available on May 4th on PS3 and PC. We must precise that we really enjoyed their communication: announcing the package as a cure of Mapathy which was the feeling of getting bored of FPS maps. Then we had some “stolen” screenshots of the 5 new maps and finally the official trailers and screenshots. But what was really in question was the price: 1200 Microsoft Points, $14.99 for 5 maps! You can buy a full game for that price! Or and independent FPS! We can easily analyse that the 25 millions of active players online on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a never seen for a FPS video game. Let’s deal with these maps and see if they worth their price.
There are 5 maps. 3 are totally new: Bailout, Salvage and Storm, 2 are taken from COD4: Overgrown and Crash.
