CVG published the top 10 biggest sellers on Xbox Live Arcade of the year. The figures were reported by Forecasting & Analyzing Digital Entertainment.

Among the list we can note the success of some FPS: Battlefield 1943 (Ea DICE) with$2.5 million (800 – 1200 Microsoft Points) which is the 4th game to have the best score. On the 5th position we have Perfect Dark (4J Studios) with $2.4 million (800 Microsoft Points).

Finally, on the 10th position: Call of Duty Classic (Infinity Ward) – $800,000 (1200 Microsoft Points). Activision must be very angry about that score! (sarcastic)

Linkin Park new single taken from their upcoming new album: A Thousand Suns (will be released on September 14) will headline the in-game soundtrack of Medal of Honor!

The song is “The Catalyst” and will be exclusively in Medal of Honor next trailer directed by the band’s Joe Hahn. The trailer will be a mix of the band’s live performances and intense Medal of Honor footage. The upcoming trailer will be live on August 1st and is very anticipated by Medal of Honor fans and Linkin Park’s fans which will discover the hit. The song will be released worldwide one day after to radios, iTunes and other media.

Exclusive Medal of Honor footage + exclusive Linkin Park song = awesome!

Here is a new trailer for Halo: Reach. It’s the Campaign Trailer. It is an official trailer for the launch of the game on September 14th.

This video has no other interest than demonstrating the impressive quality of the graphics (especially during cinematics). It looks like amazing paintings!

It sounds beautiful, it sounds cool, it sounds epic and it sounds exciting! I’m impatient…

If you still play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (and I know many of you are addicted), then you will be happy to know that DICE has just released VIP Map Pack 5. This Map Pack is free for all VIP members.

But they should know they can’t fool us twice folks. Map Pack is a kind of non sense: it opens current maps for different game modes.

White Pass is now open for Rush Mode and Nelson Bay can be played with the Conquest Mode.

Thos who have no VIP code will have to purchase one on Ea’s store. However, you will have to decide if it really worth the price or not.

Please DICE release (real) NEW maps!! Even Infinity Ward did it!!

Yesterday, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on Nintendo DS too. The game can’t be released on more platforms. I expect an iPhone / Ipad version for the release. Maybe we will also be able to play the game on watches, Atari 1200XL, GPS and on cash machines. But it’s a rumor right?

Call of Duty: Black Ops on the Nintendo DS will feature six-player online multiplayer with a new Perks System, as well as a unique two-player Co-Op mode.

Let’s get back to “serious” stuff. The Nintendo DS version has its first screenshots. It sounds ugly, it sounds unplayable and it sounds useless.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on Nintendo DS on November 9th 2010, with the other platform versions.

Zipper Interactive has released MAG v1.07 update. But one funny detail concerns Playstation Home personal space. Updated today, MAG gamers will have the possibility to gather their soldiers and plan next battles in Playstation Home new Raven’s personal space. It’s a strategic outpost situated in the heart of the jungle dedicated to Raven Industries military operations and teams briefs. It is then the most technological social place for gamers.

It sounds like an “assisted aid” of the ever-growing virtual world. In order to be more attractive, gamers will find tons of furniture items.

If you were expecting SOCOM 4 on your PS3 for 2010, then you are going to be disapointed. Rumors already pointed out that SOCOM 4 would not be ready before 2011 but it has now turned official with this post published on SOCOM.com official blog. The developers published a “letter” to confirm that SOCOM 4 will be released in 2011.

As you can see below in their post, there are no details about the reasons of the delay. The demo we played during the E3 was quite exciting so we can wonder if it is a strategical or a technical question. However, SOCOM 4 raises nice challenges such as Playstation Move so we can imagine that a longer development time will improve the game.

Here are the very first footage (teaser) of Ghost Recon Alpha. It’s a movie developed with the game: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. François Alaux et Hervé de Crecy (who get an Oscar for Logarama) were asked to create a short movie for the game’s launch. It will focus on the storyline of the game before the game’s events.

If Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has no release date yet, we still don’t know how the movie will be released: DVD? TV? Downloadable?

This game is kind of gross version of a KFC nightmare, I find it awkward but in this strangeness there’s a sweet, delicate touch of… nope ain’t nothing sweet or delicate about this game. It’s gross, aggressive, dark and scary but it’s soooo soothing. If you’ve had a bad day at work just go home put Zeno Clash in and START PUNCHING THESE BASTARDS HEADS AWAY…wouw  getting too exited!

This is one of my favorite First person-puncher so check out the weirdness.

Zeno Clash, the storyline

So here we are in the gloomy land of Zenozoik, in the city of Halstedom to be precise.  A clan rules the city. The clans’ leader is called Father-Mother (who is a weird human-birdie hybrid). And here’s where the story’s twist pop’s in.

Ghat, who we play, is a cyber-punk caricature with a pinch of tribal, and well, he murders Father-Mother.

Ghat has now betrayed the clan and is chased by his brothers and sisters and must fight for survival.

He escapes with the help of his companion, Deadra.

Ghat recounts to her the events that led him to this point; the narrative going back and forth threw time.

This is already weird, and it just get’s better (or weirder).

TimeGate has announced that they’re going to hold a 4v4 tournament on PS3. The contest will begin on the 13^th of august. The winning team will get an iPod 4G shuffle. If you’re a UK or US resident and your more than 13 years of age you may sign up, by the way sign ups end on the 6^th of august.

So how is it going to take place?

Players will be teamed up from the 13^th to the 15^th through multiple rounds of multiplayer combats. You can sign up individually or in teams.

The rules are:

• 4 vs 4 player teams
• Bots will be enabled so if a player is not able to appear on time, a bot will take their place temporarily
• Medium difficulty
• Partial Friendly Fire
• Goal Score = 1000 Victory Points
• Time Limit = 25 minutes
• All games will feature an official referee
• There will be a 5 minute warm-up period before each match
• You may only use the team specified on this application!
• The structure of the tournament may vary
• Applications are due by Friday, Aug. 6th
• Winners will receive a 4gb iPod shuffle!
