OnLive Running Borderlands at the E3 2010
OnLive was announced during the GDC 2009. We are now very close to the official take off of the new technology which may change a lot of things in the video-game environment. OnLive concept is simple: it provides high-end video games running at HD resolution streamed in realtime over the internet. The games are playable on any device capable of running the OnLive client connected to an internet connection with a downstream of at least 5 megabit. And the Ipad, for example, can run the OnLive client. Most of the people who tried OnLive during the E3 reported: it is too perfect to be true.
OnLive is very present at the E3 2010 and presents the new technology on iPads, Macs and PC’s all over the event. OnLive may change the video-games world and more forever. To improve the video game experience, we must wait for compatibles pad, especially on Ipad, to have an independant platform which can run tons of actual HD games. For the moment, you have a virtual joystick on the top of the screen which limits the gameplay.
Here is a demonstration of OnLive technology running Borderlands on Ipad:

Why the hell did they put the virtual controls at the top of the UI. thats the dumbest thing ive ever seen. other than that, its pretty cool.
