Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Can Unlock a Weapon for Medal of Honor
You certainly know that DICE has developed Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and it is now developing Medal of Honor. Playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 can unlock a gun for the upcoming Medal of Honor. Yeah yeah: the upcoming game. That means it has not been released yet!
We’ve learned from the Battlefield blog that we can have access to the M24 Sniper rifle in the multiplayer mode. If you’ve not registered your Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIP code then you have up to March 31, 2011 to do it or just to play online in order to unlock the weapon for the future Medal of Honor.
This is a damn machiavelic marketing plan: people who unlock the M24 Sniper are then possible Medal of Honor buyers.

Bungie Signed a 10-years Publishing Agreement with Activision
Beyond Activision’s troubles with Infinity Ward and its staff leaving the boat, Bungie has announced a 10-year publishing agreement with Activision. Activision will receive exclusive and worldwide rights to publish all Bungie’s games: the Bungie’s “next big action game universe.” Activision will then choose the plaforms and devices for the upcoming games which clearly means that Bungie’s Xbox exclusivity is past.
This surprising deal is the result of 9 months of work and Bungie is presented has an independant studio: Activision doesn’t own the studio. The intellectual property remains to Bungie. This would have been pretty hard for Activision to make another deal according to the conflict they had with the ex bosses of Infinity Wars, Vince Zampella and Jason West.

aboutHow Conduit 2 will be Improved?
Eric Nofsinger, a High Voltage Software’s chief creative officer, explained on the Sega blog how Conduit 2 will be highly better than its predecessor (which we highy expect according to how bad was the first episode).
According to Eric, the first game suffered from the burden of having to build a new engine and a totally new intellectual property. It is true that this is a risky bet: “It really was a lot for the team to handle at one time.”
“At various points throughout the development of C1 we would discover something new about the technology, build a new graphics feature, and then have to make hard decisions as to whether or not we had time to rework existing art content to take better advantage of the latest features.”
