The GDC 2010 was the occasion to reward John Carmack with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the video game history (click here for more details about that price). Doom co-creator and id Software are “one of the best-regarded major game development studios to be working in iPhone and iPod Touch games” said Kotaku. The arrival next month of the Ipad signifies a new platform for game developers and we can be sure we’ll hear on John Carmack’s project.
