If you excuse me that pun: making a FPS is a marathon. However, Superannuation revealed that Bungie has field a new trademark registration for Marathon (click here for the proof).

Maybe Marathon is not known by every one: it was a FPS released in 1994 on Mac OS. It has been a trilogy which was somewhat the ancestor of Halo which is a reference for everyone. Marathon is still in some old geek heart.
